Manifestations of Angelic presence during the Tunguska Event

As the battle started in heaven and finished on the earth it does seem reasonable that God, Jesus and his angels would therefore be in close proximity to human eyewitnesses who could unwittingly testify to visible manifestations of their presence.

A search through the Bible for indications of visible manifestations of these that occurred in the past or are prophesied to occur in the future should now be necessary in order to measure them against the testimony provided by actual eyewitnesses of the Tunguska Event.

In Mark 8:38 Jesus mentioned he would be coming with his "holy angels" as follows:
Mark 8:38 - ESV "38 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.""

An examination of the Bible to determine visible and physical manifestations of angelic presence on the earth and also as they approach vicinity of the earth could now be undertaken in order to measure them against actual eyewitness testimony of the Tunguska event.

Included in the more than 700 recorded eyewitness testimonies is the observation on the same day of very large pillars of fire and columns of smoke.

Reading these testimonies brings to mind the prophecy at Joel 2:30,31 where several portents (signs or wonders) are mentioned as follows:

Joel 2:30 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
Pillars of fire and columns of smoke were associated with angels during the Israelites march through the wilderness. With this in mind their presence on the earth during the final stages of the battle, which started in heaven, should not be surprising. (Revelation 12:7)

Exodus 14:19 "Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them,"

Exodus 13:21 "And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:"

There is also testimony, which mentions two columns of fire that emanated from near the Tunguska Body after it approached the ground. These two columns, the clouds of smoke and the rainbow like iridescent bands of light seem remarkably similar to the following description of an angelic manifestation mentioned in the bible at Revelation Ch10:1 as follows:

Revelation 10:1 "Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars."
It should be expected that in order to subdue Satan a mighty angel would be required. (Jesus?)
Here is the double column of fire eyewitness testimony, which can be found in Andrei Ol'khovatov's web site:

http://olkhov.narod.ru/tunguska.htm#21

"Nizshne-Ilimskoye (419 km, 168). The fireball was seen which while going to the ground at first flattened into 'flying saucer'. Then coming nearer to the ground it transformed into 2 fire columns. "

It is interesting to also contemplate that a cylindrical object when viewed from one end slightly tilted would give the appearance of the traditionally accepted 'flying saucer shape'

That angels are manifested as flames of fire and wind (vortices) is made mention of by the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Hebrews at Ch 1:7 who is quoting Psalm 104

Hebrews 1:7 NIV "In speaking of the angels he says, "He makes his angels winds,
his servants flames of fire."

Psalm 104:1 NIV "Praise the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendour and majesty. 2 He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent 3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind. 4 He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants."

That columns of fire are witnessed on the same day as the lightning expected as part of Jesus's statement at Luke 10:18, a manifestation of a battle between angels is not surprising considering descriptions in the bible of how angels physically appear.

This continues to add to the very large amount of composite evidence which should now be compelling enough to convince even the toughest skeptic.

It is reasonable to conclude that the "casting down of Satan" associated with Jesus coming to kingly power is an event much deserving of a portent.

The earthly parts of these portents mentioned in Joel definitely seem fulfilled on the same day as the extraordinary manifestation of lightning expected as part of Jesus’ statement at Luke 10:18.

The missing part of the portent is "blood".

My suspicion is that it refers to the bloodshed caused by the outbreak of World War One and continuing through the remainder of the 20th century and now into the 21st.

The remaining portents mentioned in Joel 2:30,31 are the heavenly or celestial ones also mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24:29,30 which are associated with the revelation of Jesus after the tribulation as follows:

Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Jesus, in Matthew 24:29,30 does not include the earthly portents of blood, fire and columns of smoke mentioned in Joel 2:30 with his eventual revelation after the tribulation.

This provides some confidence they could be associated with something else. It is therefore with comfort that they should be associated with the "casting down of Satan" which also heralds the coming of Jesus to Kingly Power and the start of the last days. The entire writings of the Bible lead towards the manifestation of God's Kingdom. Certainly these events are ones much deserving of a visible and undeniable portent (sign) or 'wonder'.

There is still more to be written in regard to angelic manifestations here.

Keep returning for updates as as I make progress.

I must say, that from all your different teachings, this one is quite interesting and shuns the idea of angels with halos and wings, and devils with horns and pitchforks.
